AI Project Description
In this page you will see the task we had to do for the communicating ideas course. In blue it's what i wrote to ChatGPT, and in red what he answered me.
I have a design/innovation project that I’d like to describe more compellingly, and I need your help to do so.
Start by asking me five thoughtful questions about my project, one at a time, in separate messages. Wait for my response to each question before asking the next one. These questions should aim to uncover important aspects of my project, such as its purpose, audience, uniqueness, impact, and practical details.
Based on my answers, create a concise project definition, no longer than 1000 words, written in a friendly and easy-to-understand tone.
Once the project definition is complete, help me define my project’s purpose using Simon Sinek's Golden Circle framework:
First, ask questions to clarify What the project does.
Then, ask questions to understand How the project does it.
Finally, ask questions to uncover Why the project exists.
The final purpose statement should be no longer than a tweet (280 characters) and should clearly express the core inspiration behind the project.
Great! Let’s start by understanding the core of your project.
First question: What problem does your project aim to solve, and why is this problem important?
My project aim to solve the problem of non-having ultra personalised shoes, fitted with your foot and adapt to your health foot issues. This problem is important because all people wear shoes and all of our weight is based on our feet. Also a lot of people have health foot issues and they don't go to see podologist.
That’s a great problem to tackle!
Second question: Who is your target audience? Are you focusing on people with specific foot health issues, athletes, general consumers, or another group?
I'm trying to focusing on people with little health problems, but also on athletes which wants personalised shoes and also with the general consumers for al people can be confortable in their shoes.
That makes sense—you’re aiming for a broad audience while addressing both comfort and health needs.
Third question: What makes your solution unique compared to existing footwear options like custom insoles, orthopedic shoes, or high-end sneakers?
Orthopedic shoes are not esthetic and made just for big health issues. High end sneakers are too expensive, and custom insoles are good but you need to change your insole everytime you change your shoes. And I want to create this shoes super personalised, and when you finished to use them you can send them to our company and we can analize the utilisation of your feet and trying to give you a shoes better fitting to you with some amelioriations.
That’s a strong unique angle—combining aesthetics, personalization, and continuous improvement!
Fourth question: How will the personalization process work? Will you use 3D scanning, AI, or other technology to analyze and create the perfect shoe for each person?
I want to use 3D scanning, but maybe also pressure sensor for the feet. Maybe also AI to see which difficulties the consumer have when he walk. And for undestranding the use of the shoes I want to use a meta-material to see the efforts which have done in the differents parts of the shoe. I want also to use some materials really sustainable, and why not biomaterials.
That’s an impressive mix of technology and sustainability!
Fifth question: How do you envision the customer journey—from the moment they decide to get your shoes to receiving and eventually upgrading them?
First the consuler go to the shop and we shape his patern of his foot, or he can do it alone. After we create his shoe ( or in a wonderful world he can create his shoe from his house) and he receive his shoe. After he use his shoe as much as he can. And when a part is to much use he can send us, or coming with his shoe, and we repair it, or we try to understand the efforts he applyed on his shoe, to make a better one for his use for the consumer.
That sounds like a well-thought-out, customer-focused journey! Now, based on everything you've shared, here’s a concise and compelling project definition:
Project Definition
Imagine a world where every shoe is made just for you—perfectly shaped to your feet, adapting to your walking style, and even improving over time. Our project is revolutionizing footwear by creating ultra-personalized, sustainable shoes designed to support comfort, health, and performance.
Using 3D scanning, pressure sensors, AI analysis, and advanced materials, we craft shoes tailored to each individual’s foot shape and movement. Unlike orthopedic shoes, which can be bulky, or high-end sneakers, which don’t adapt to your needs, our solution merges style, technology, and functionality into one seamless experience.
Here’s how it works: 1️⃣ Personalization – Customers scan their feet in-store (or even from home in the future!). 2️⃣ Customization – We use cutting-edge materials, including biomaterials, to create a sustainable, tailor-made shoe. 3️⃣ Continuous Improvement – After wear, customers can return their shoes for analysis and upgrades, ensuring better fit and durability over time.
This isn’t just about making shoes—it’s about making shoes that evolve with you. Whether you’re an athlete seeking peak performance, someone with mild foot concerns, or just looking for the most comfortable and sustainable footwear possible, our mission is to redefine what it means to step into the perfect shoe.
Does this capture your vision accurately? Would you like me to refine or emphasize anything further before we move on to defining the project’s purpose using the Golden Circle framework? 😊
We move on defining the project's purpose using the Golden Circle framework.
Got it! Here’s your project’s purpose using Simon Sinek’s Golden Circle framework:
WHY (Core Purpose)
We believe everyone deserves shoes that fit perfectly, adapt to their needs, and evolve with them—enhancing comfort, performance, and foot health while minimizing waste.
HOW (Unique Approach)
By combining 3D scanning, AI, pressure sensors, and advanced biomaterials, we create ultra-personalized shoes that are stylish, sustainable, and designed to improve over time. Customers can even return worn shoes for analysis and upgrades, ensuring a continuously better fit.
WHAT (What the Project Does)
We design and produce ultra-personalized, health-conscious, and eco-friendly shoes that adapt to each individual’s foot shape, movement, and usage—merging comfort, technology, and sustainability.
Final Purpose Statement (Tweet-Length):
"Revolutionizing footwear with ultra-personalized, AI-driven shoes that adapt to your feet, improve over time, and embrace sustainability—because every step should be comfortable, healthy, and uniquely yours."
Does this align with your vision? Let me know if you'd like any refinements! 😊
There is all the discussion I had with ChatGPT about the definition on my project. I think it was really interresting and I will use it again, because it was super usefull for understanding my own project and what I have to remember how to sell my project and speak about it.
