For this intervention I decided to ask my podolgist to create me new insoles for comparing the differences between my old insoles and the new ones. Because I wanted to understand how are they when they are not used and to see in which part of my feet I used more my insole and to collect some visuals data of my feet and my posture.
On this following pictures we can see my new podolgist insole. As you can there is different materials, each material has a differendent rigidity. For example the thin red part and the total black parts under the sole are the most rigid parts. However the green and blue port are more soft. The green part is the one where most of the pressure of my weight is.
On the others pictures you can see my old podolgist insole, this one i wear wear it for more than 1 year. We clearly can see on this one where I put the majority of my weight. My podologist used this sole to understand what he can change on my new one. Of course this insole is really used, but i used it for all my different activies like sports and walking. We can also see that the sole is fold on the extrem part, because the sole fit not really perfectly to the inside of the shoe.
So after the comparison I decided to put my foot on a paper and drawing the print of it when it was on the floor. And like this i can compare the different soles and the shape of my foot. Furthermore I took an insole of a normal shoe and I put it under my foot and I compare the shape to the shape of my foot also.
After I decided to use a 3D app, to scan my foot and put it on blender to try to see if I can create a mold on blender and to print it in 3D for. It was also to see if we can have a good 3D scan and use it for the creation of the sole after.
So after this 3D scans, I think they are good enough to create the mold and the shape of the feet on a 3D software.
I also tried to understand the posture of my legs and to understand how I used my shoes because my feet are not really made for this shoes.
Sincerely I don't know if I see a lot of differences in my legs posture between the picture of me without the sole and with the soles. But what you can clearly see is when I wear my shoes. My shoes are totally deformed, the exterior side of the upper is pushed in the exterior by my feet. And we can see also that my feet goes outside of the sole because they are larger.
So what's next. I think I will try to create the form for the shoes of my feet on a 3D software, thanks to my 3D scan of my feet. And maybe trying to automatize the processus of creating this. Furthermore I think I will try to make a litlle design of the sole and after make the mold and makig it in a Biomaterial, like gelatina or something like this. And of course trying to putting in the sole the form of my podologist insole. The goal is to make these things easy, for others people to replicate it.
