# Collective Intervention

The goal of this course was to explore and develop forms of aggregative documentation, with a focus on building a collective framework to document our explorations using existing digital platforms. We were tasked with creating digital maps that documented resources and opportunities within the design studio. This involved creating a collaborative map of projects, resources, news, and intervention opportunities that could populate our physical workspace, as well as developing a plan for sharing relevant information among all class participants. Additionally, we were required to carry out different pilot design interventions to better understand our design space in an embodied and situated way.

For this project, I worked with Max, Lucretia, and Andrea to reflect on how we could prolong the lifespan of our phones, specifically by addressing the issue of battery life. We focused on finding solutions to help conserve battery power, as it is one of the most rapidly deteriorating and environmentally harmful components of a phone. Our goal was to identify ways to optimize battery usage and ultimately reduce the ecological impact of frequent phone replacements.
